Thing about copying someone's hard work and calling it their own.

Just posting about this here since my friend's hardwork has been ripped off along with other good ng musicians' works.

If you go to the comments section and select newest first, you'll see a post from Zafrece Comezo. Thats my friend confronting said youtuber about said video/music. This is one of the most frustrating things about being an artist, be it in the aspect of art, music or any other form. AGH. The fact that someone is getting SO much views and love from copying and editing a little bit of the song and then claiming that it's one of their works just drives me mad to no ends.

The idea of all that hardwork, planning and working out the right tunes to make the right song, just gone! Furthermore, its giving the other guy lots of views and love!!! WTF . It kills me everytime i see people doing that with art, music, ideas for movies and just about anything!

SIGHHH but yeah. Anyways, i hope some of you can check it out and thumbs up that comment at the least. It would help my friend out alot.

It's fine if they actually SOURCE where it came from but to not source it and claim as their own really gets me.. which is why i don't usually post art. For that very reason for someone to take something of mine and alter it then claim as their own.

Further more if your friends music is on youtube and if people are giving them shit about it then perhaps they should look for the posting date as that will generally lead you to whom posted first.

Still your point stands i can't stand people whom steal from us and say they did it when each piece they mess with differentiates from the last. The same thing happened to someone i follow on here their work got ripped off and turned into something else and was claimed by another person..

Smh.. the people who steal are the reason why a majority of artist are the way they are.

they've included the posting date etc. It was posted a year before this song was out. yeah i agree, frustrates me to no end. that such people exist and can even live with themselves = =

people can be real fuckin' assholes sometimes. same thing happen's on dA. usually the thief gets shut down pretty quick, but.. it's really sad when they get away with stealing/copying someone's work... i guess that's what we get for using a creative commons license and posting on the internet though.
